amari is more than a store — it is a personal expression of connection, identity, and love for a continent that touches people deeply. Named after my son Amari, who was born in Tanzania and carries both German and Tanzanian roots, this brand was born from my own journey — between Germany and East Africa, between home and longing, between two worlds that found their place in my heart.

It was there that I found more than just a place — I found a feeling of belonging, warmth, and deep connection. And like so many people who have truly experienced Africa, I left a part of my heart there — or perhaps, I found it there.
